BEN AGWUNCHA - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

With over 33 years of experience in financial management and administrative leadership, Ben is a vital asset to Strides. As the Executive Director of Finance and Administration, Ben oversees the company’s financial health, ensuring robust fiscal strategies and efficient administrative operations.

He brings a wealth of expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and risk management, coupled with a strong background in organizational development. Ben has a proven track record of optimizing financial performance, implementing innovative cost-saving measures, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Ben worked with Tunde Williams and co, a firm of Chartered Accounts where he rose to the position of Audit Senior. Thereafter in 1992, he joined Chartered Bank Plc where he began his banking career. He was made a branch manager after distinguishing himself in the Customer Services, Fund processing unit, Treasury operations, and Business Development.

A chartered accountant, Ben joined Strides in 2004 as the Accounts Manager from where he rose to become the Executive Director, Finance and Administration. He holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Uyo.

At Strides, Ben is dedicated to driving sustainable growth and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. His leadership is characterized by strategic vision, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
